Our unpaid internships provide the opportunity to work behind-the scenes in a supportive team environment while taking ownership of projects. Interns often have the freedom to set their own schedules, approaches to solutions, and project timelines. Ideal interns are flexible, creative, responsible, and able to problem-solve with limited resources. The ability to work independently is essential as interns will often have minimal supervision. Internships at Opportunity House are a great resume-builder and a fantastic development opportunity for local students.
If interested, please send resume and cover letter to Nicola at nicola@ophousethrift.org
For IU students, we work with the Kelley Institute for Social Impact. This organization helps students get involved in the community while potentially earning internship credit for degree requirements. Visit the KISI website to learn more about and apply for available internships.
